How the Vehicle Log Book Generator Works

The generator turns a few simple inputs into a full monthly register, automatically keeping the fuel and distance figures consistent.

What you enter

• Vehicle & month — registration number, month, year, average kilometres per litre, and the opening odometer reading.
• Tank & fuel — tank capacity, fuel in the tank at the start, the during-month reserve level, and the closing reserve you want left at month-end.
• Driving days — how many days the vehicle was driven, an optional daily-kilometre cap, and any weekdays or dates to exclude.
• Refuel events — the day and litres for each fuel purchase, plus an optional note such as “MT to Duty”.
