To ensure the smooth flow of traffic and maintain security during the 11th Muharram procession from Chohar Chowk, the City Traffic Police (CTP) Rawalpindi has announced a detailed traffic management plan. The plan aims to minimize public inconvenience and provide alternative routes during the event.

Deployment of Traffic Personnel

As per the traffic plan, a total of 194 officers and personnel will perform special duties on the day of the procession, including:

  • 1 Senior Traffic Officer
  • 5 DSPs (Deputy Superintendents of Police)
  • 27 Senior Traffic Wardens
  • 161 Traffic Wardens and Assistants
