Monsoon Season in Pakistan and CTP Prepration
On the orders of the IG Punjab and the instructions of the Chief Traffic Officer Rawalpindi, all the traffic officials, including the circle and sector in-charges are engaged in ensuring the uninterrupted flow of traffic and timely assistance to road users throughout the city during the monsoon season in Pakistan. They are also advised that, in case of emergency stay in full communication with other departments and perform duties with a team work.
According to the details, on the orders of IG Punjab Rao Sardar Ali Khan and the instructions of Chief Traffic Officer Rawalpindi Naveed Irshad, all the traffic officials including circle and sector in-charges are engaged in uninterrupted flow of traffic throughout the city and immediate assistance to road users during monsoon season in Pakistan.
Chief Traffic Officer Rawalpindi Naveed Irshad inspected the main highways to assess the flow of traffic in the city during the rain and congratulated all the officers including the officers for the excellent flow of traffic. Chief Traffic Officer Rawalpindi Naveed Irshad said that, In order to maintain the flow of traffic in the city during the monsoon season in Pakistan, all the circle and sector in-charges should keep their positions on busy and low-lying roads and inform the relevant institutions in case of standing water anywhere so that there is no disruption in the flow of traffic. Also, provide timely assistance to all lifters, break downs patrolling and breakdown vehicles and motorcyclists. All the sector in-charges and duty officers should ensure the provision of raincoats and umbrellas to the wardens in their respective sectors and perform their duties with the best strategy, hard work, dedication and team work in constant communication with the concerned departments and WASA.
It was said that during monsoon season in Pakistan due to standing water in low-lying areas, the flow of traffic is temporarily slow down, so the traffic wardens should present at such places and important points to keep the traffic flowing. Citizens are also requested to show patience while taking care of the pedestrians and other road users during the rain and keep the speed of the vehicle low as the road is slippery during the rain.
